Chitty IV was rechristened "Babs" after purchase by John Godfrey Parry-Thomas. Parry-Thomas was killed when the car rolled at over 100mph, and the car was buried at Pendine Sands in Wales, until it was excavated and restored about 40 years later.

Yep. I included it for completeness, but it makes for a whole story on its own.
I couldn't seem to find any decent pics of Chitty III, and while I have one at home, it's just a drawing.
